Great value, great sound
Purchased for use with patchbay, brilliant. Connected my 18i20 in no time, bought two multicores; 8 ins and 8 outs.
Pros:
Great build quality
Coloured cables keep it easy to use
Sound quality is pristine
Excellent value
Cons:
None.
If you are setting up a patchbay and want to not mess about with a nest of cables, but do not want to break the bank. Excellent value.

Affordable multi cable
I own several of these and have had no issues so far. I use them to connect gear in my studio, so they mostly stay connected at all times.
They do feel a little cheap but I can't really complain at this price point.
I've had issues with the coloured rubber bands snapping off on more than one cable; seems little the rubber had dried up. Nothing a little glue couldn't fix though, and the cables are marked with (small) numbers as well so no risk of getting the cables mixed up it this happens.
I would have preferred if the colours were a bit different though; two cables are different shades of red, and two are black and dark grey respectively, which makes it hard to tell them apart in poorly lit conditions. The colour coding on the sssnake FSP cables are better, in my opinion.
Still, highly recommended!

I use this for connecting several guitar effects pedals to their associated expression pedals (via some female-female stereo adapters), and it has never skipped a beat. The jacks are well made, the cable is pleasingly substantial, and it comes with a velcro cable wrap, which is handy.
I would recommend this product, and have no issues to report whatsoever.

Simple everyday snake
A simple workhorse cable that gets the job done.
Pros: Obvious one, when you need to throw a bunch of middle/long length 8ch links to and from jacks specifically, then these are right on point, and helps limit the cable clutter.
Cons: Either my needs are too special, but I always feel the lack of shorter (and odd) length options. As in the tight situation, the extra cable bulk from multiple snakes can quickly become too much. So you get back to the same old dilemma: either soldering one yourself (costs extra time and money), using even more separate short patches (more clutter again, but of different type), or filling the already tight racks with unused snake loops. (Or lets be frank, going elsewhere for your snake fix).
Minor issue but still, some Quality Control slip up occurred back at the time I ordered those: one of the pieces I got had one of the Green color rings mixed up with Grey (so two Greys on one end).
But overall, I can't complain much really, they indeed do their main job fine.

For those that need working cables and don't care about the snake oil stories
I bought myself some fine cable, and plenty of simple jacks, trying to make my own patch cables. I did my best to solder the things together as neat as I could, not having cable tester at the time, meant testing the cables in use. As I used these cables for backpanel connections in my rack to troubleshoot faulty ones was total waste of time. And the whole ordeal of making my own cables too. These Thomann's sssnakes are great. They work! And are cheaper then the sum of its parts if you try to make one yourself, not to mention time used to assemle something like this yourself. They have fixed jacks that don't seem to be made for replacement. Aesthetic quality of plastic casting on jacks is not top notch BUT THEY WORK! and are color coded. Once I plugged them in the back of my rack I didn't touch them, no need.
I haven't noticed any change in signal quality (surprise, surprise, its a freaking wire)
Cut the chase and get these if you need to connect your soundcard's I/O to your patchbay or mixer they are well worth the money.

Great Snake
I have several variants of these SSSnake multicore cables, both stereo/balanced and Mono/unbalanced. They do the work perfectly. I also have the XLR, and Y cable variants as well. In our space the length of these is perfect.
Using patchbays with a 24 channel mixer and an old 24 channel recorder, and add in the odd bit of outboard mic pres, fx etc, you'd be amased how much cables it takes to hook everything up. These snakes makes it easy. some good preperations and you can even keep a bunch of these snakes together and still keep it neat.
Unless you love soldering this is a good alternative.

an honestly priced loom
works perfectly
not a rip off price like so many looms
quick delivery
no fuss
OK, there's no 2m, 1.5m, or 1.0m, but
what more do you want from a loom

Great product for the price
I've purchased several of these over the years, mainly for their price, to route racks of gear to a central patchbay. They connect firmly and I haven't noticed any bad contacts, even on the older ones. The coloured rings have fallen off from some of the older ones, but more recent ones seem to hold better. Overall, great product for the price.
