String Tie for classical guitar

Fantastic item, looks really nice on the guitar and it avoids of slipping the string from the top of the instrument during replacement of strings. Really easy in use and complements the the instrument really well.

To put it simply, these work. Very easy to use. I use these on my Harley Benton custom line Nashville Nylon. Without them I would have no idea how to string a classical guitar. They are a little expensive but I would be lost without them. The perfect solution for the beginner getting their first Spanish / classical guitar.

And apparently they somehow enhyance the sound of the guitar.

Good for guitars with slanting deck

My 35 year old classic guitar, has the characteristic hollow in front of the bridge and a bulb behind, so I had to install a higher saddle but still the strings had hardly any angle over the saddle, as nylon strings, fastened the traditional way, lessens this angle.
The string ties solved this problem and the guitar is probably good for another 7-10 years, maybe longer.

Guitar Strings are Breaking from these "String Tie"

Without playing the guitar, the strings simply break.
I suppose this is due to the very high pressure applied at a 90 degree angle, through this system

Every classical guitarist had to think about tying strings. This accessory is an aid and protects the instrument from damage.

Good price and fits perfectly

I am satisfied with the string tie. I managed to replace it by my self and it fits perfectly. It feels high quality and goes well with the wood texture on the guitar. The price is good and makes it sound as with the originall string tie. I cannot hear any difference from the original one.

A much easier way to attach strings. It seems that the change in the angle of tension positively affects the sound .A very useful thing.

They work but are fiddly

Tried these out. They function as they say they do, but I find them quite fiddly to put on. Not a big issue as I change nylon strings less frequently anyway.
