Recently bought a high end snare drum (wasn’t cheap) and needed a case to keep it safe and protect from potential damaging at gigs or transporting etc. have soft cases for cheaper stuff but definitely switching to this brand for everything! Weird smell inside, but I recently bought the 14x6.5 and doesn’t have that smell (not that smell really matters) well worth the investment

This is a very good case. Its fits my Yamaha Steve Jordan snare like a glove. Its offers great protection and the handle is comfortable and sturdy. If I had a criticism it would be that its a tad pricey. But your snare will be well protected so all an excellent quality case.

Hallo zusammen,

da ich schon lange auf der Suche nach einem Top Case für meine Pearl Joey Jordison Signature Snare Drum war, hat sich das Case von SKB bestens angeboten.

Top Verarbeitung, sehr sicher durch den Befestigungsgurt, schönes, robustes Design und innen schön mit weicher Polsterung ausgestattet. Genau das richtige für meine geliebte Snare bzw. allgemein wenn man oft auf GIG´s / Tour ist und die Sachen im Sprinter / Auto oder Bus verstaut werden müssen.

Kann das Case nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Auch die anderen Cases für BD, Toms und Hardware. Einfach klasse !!!

Meine ersten SKB Cases habe ich vor gut zehn Jahren gekauft: alles gut, stabil und gut gepolstert. Koffer fürs Leben eben. Jetzt musste für eine neu erstandene Snare der in 13x6,5 her. Was soll ich sagen: Das Innenleben war dünner als bei den alten, überaus mäßig verklebt, es roch noch eine ganze Weile nach Klebstoff. Und: das Case ist tief genug für 8 Zoll tiefe Trommeln. Warum nur? Das ist Platzverschwendung in kleinen Autos. Ein bisschen oversized ist ja gut, aber hier wurde übertrieben.

Darüberhinaus aber sind die SKBs stabil, nicht allzu schwer und immer noch gut, klar; Gurte und Verschlüsse sehr ordentlich. Früher aber besser verarbeitet und deshalb: Preis-werter.
