A great instrument!
This instrument is used professionally in orchestral and chamber settings and is a great replacement to another Selmer bass clarinet which I used to own and play on.
The Selmer Privilege is a fine instrument which offers a fine response with a full vibrant tone across all the registers. Keywork is ergonomically produced and works with the lightest of touches.
One small con - due to the extra keys for low register alternate finger positions, one has to retrain fingers as to adapt to the new setup - as compared to the 'minimal' keywork present on the previous Selmer owned. :-)
Definitely this is a marvellous instrument to own and perform on.
Service from Thomann was very efficient with customer care feedback being very responsive.
