Great for specific uses
I use this cable to feed small monaural synths to a mixing console. So stuff like Volca Kick, Volca Bass, meeblip Geode (Summed Mono), but NOT stuff like Volca FM or Teenage Engineering OP-1, which employ unbalanced stereo.
There can be some confusion going from mini-jack to a balanced input, should the Mini-Jack be TS or TRS? Should the Large jack plug be balanced or unbalanced? (If you use the wrong cable the signals can cancel out in the case of summed mono, and some cables are wired differently with the tips and sleeves)
If you have an XLR input on your interface or mixing console, and one of these summed-mono headphone out modules, you can use this cable without having to worry about all that stuff. No risk of buzz or missing the ground, clear as hell, solid cable, end of story!

Works flawlessly
Needed a solution for playing music into my mixer from smartpones (since I play drums, I also send my metronome signal to the mixer with this). I always prefer XLR if possible. Saves me a lot of hassles (otherwise there will always be some adapters involved and that's just waisting time and adding potential weak links to the system).
The cable is pretty thin - well, it's a 3.5mm on the other end, surprise:) So take care not to damage it on the floor etc. If you take care of it - this thing is good!

I use it to connect PC with my mixing desk, when using projector. A great solution, because you can extend the lenght with another XLR cable. Good quality!

Summed drums to boss looper
I needed a summing cable to send the stereo out of my Roland TD1 into mono in for a Boss RC500 loop pedal. I went with this as I don't use my XLR input and means I can keep my guitar plugged in stereo. Works great.

Excellent quality!
The pro snake KM 1030 is ideal for connecting a smartphone to an active monitor.
Ideal length, shorter versions would not be long enough for a drummer.

Good Job
I bought on of these thinking I might never use it. I now had to buy a second because the other one solved a problem for me and I can see a lot of uses for it.

I use this cable a to connect my Mp3 player to the line in input on my EV ZXA1-90B to play songs.
Basically its function is to hook up a XLR male to a headphone or mp-3 player socket ( trs socket)
Pros: Great sound & Quality with no Interference.
