Perfect Pearl
I've been playing a long time and my very first flute was a Pearl. I highly recommend Pearl flutes because I feel they produce a clear, sweet tone. It doesn't sound woolly where you can hear the air when you blow a note. I've had lots of comments about my playing and my tone. I'm sure it's down to Pearl. This model has a silver head joint and the body is silver plated. I absolutely love it.
The only niggle I have is the top F# doesn't sound very clear and is quite hard to produce. This is probably an adjustment problem rather than a build problem.
I highly recommend it for beginners and intermediate players.

Pearl 665 E Quantz flute
Been learning flute for about 18 months, and decided it was time to upgrade from my second hand starter flute. There's a lot of choice out there, but i knew that a flute with a solid silver head joint, was the way to go.The obvious choice was Yamaha, but after comparing the sound samples,i decided to buy the Pearl flute, and i have not been disappointed.
Even though i have not been playing flute for very long,i am really impressed with this flute. My flute teacher, who has been playing for 20 years, agrees. This is a good sounding flute.
