Finally pro quality 3,5mm plug
This is from my experience one of the very few 3,5mm plugs suitable for pro stage use. I use it for wired IEM and have a full confidence in it's construction.
The quality of the tip is standard from Neutrik, and it has strain relief that actualy does the job. For me this is really important feature for every pro audio cable.
This plug is really small and can be little tricky for soldering, almost impossible if your cable is over 4mm thick - it won't fit the strain relief. Due to that "only" 4 stars overall. But once completed, I believe it's indestructible

Expected more from Neutrik
I purchased a few of these plugs because I wanted to shorten the cables on some of my headphones. Unfortunately, as I was putting the strain relief on the cut-off cable before soldering, the strain relief tore right at the molding line (please note that the diameter of the headphone cable did not exceed the maximum diameter specified by Neutrik on their website). There was also a large and unsightly molding mark on the strain relief, which could have been easily removed at the factory. I had to use a razor blade to cut it off flush. Finally, even though each metal part of the plug looked very high quality, when I screwed them all together, there were large gaps between them, and the entire assembly rattled when shaken. I had expected a lot more from Neutrik... Curiously, when I looked at the packaging the plugs had come in, on some of them it said “Made in Liechtenstein”, and on others — “Designed in Liechtenstein”. Does it mean that the manufacturing facilities have been moved elsewhere? It might have been a coincidence, but all of the “Made in Liechtenstein” plugs appeared to fit together a bit better than the “Designed in Liechtenstein” ones. I managed to finish the task using one of the better plugs, but I still had to glue it together with instant adhesive to prevent the unsightly gaps between the metal parts. I will not buy these plugs in the future.

Simple and pretty solid
These are very well designed for very easy soldering. The construction once made is rather hardy and I cannot foresee any issues. The space in the rubber relief is rather narrow so check your cables first, but it is also easy to cut to make clearance for slightly larger cables.
I've used these mostly for MIDI cables to go between guitar pedals and a Mfningstar MIDI box but have also used several for audio and I believe them to be excellent quality.
that's it, not really much to say except that these are a great choice if the size suits your needs!

Great jack
Great jack although I will say it looked a little less chunkier and durable in the pictures then it actually was. Still great quality jack.

pratical once assembled
I've seen easier jacks to assemble (and the inside is really tiny), but once done, it's sturdy and the recessed base makes it possible to plug even into poorly designed devices.

Good quality
A bit expensive, but it is a very good stereo plug, with very good cable support.

Very hard to close well
Not a big fan of this construction. A lot of force is required screwing on the straight cylinder, to get the angled part to close. So much so that I didn't get any of the plugs to close without clearly visible seams. Not getting these again.

it's as expected from neutrik
Tiny so fiddly to solder but seem to last longer than other mini jacks the cables on my headphones tend to die before the plugs so can't complain.

Only for experienced bonders
The quality of the product is very good. When it is attached to a cable, the bond between cable and plug is really tight. One has to keep in mind that this is a very tiny adapter, so one has to be very careful while attaching (Took me quite a few minutes to do so)!

Bought this mini Jack in 2012
We are in 2020 and I've only now got round to soldering up the camera sound cable I needed for my SLR. 8 years have passed and the world is a different place.
Excellent quality connector as can be expected from Neutrik.
