I purchased a pro amp that has only Speakon outputs (duh!) to drive bass in a diy 3-way hi-fi speaker.
I had very little prior experience with twist connectors.
Now that I have tried it few times I am convinced, the screw connectors belong to the museum.
Also, they are cheaper than screw connectors.
Neutrik quality, surfaces are smooth, no casting edges, connectors fit together perfectly. Outstanding!
So far I can't come out with any negative criticism about these.
Since these are mostly plastic, I am cautious about the longevity, but again, these get to be used in installation/live where they get abused much more than a hobbyist could manage.
I am now considering putting the panel ones to every speaker I make and also every amp. Why make life more complicated than it already is.
