- Native Instruments Traktor X1 Mk2

- iphone charging or PIONEER CDJ 400
The devices are not disconnected when using this, so this is good.

A little disappointing
The first thing that struck about this product was its complete light-weightness. It appears to be made out of nothing but light, poor quality plastic and lacks and kind of strong durability. This was compounded by a friend's recent purchase of a similar product, which was of a considerably higher quality in this regard. In terms of its use, it more or less fulfils its duties as a USB hub. However, I have found that it simply will not work with a USB midi keyboard that I have. This is not a huge deal as I am able to connect the keyboard through my other USB port, but it is at the same time a bit of a disappointment. Perhaps it is a case of getting what you pay for, but I definitely pay more for better quality than this in the future.

it burned after being used three times
it doesn't work for usb powered devices at all, if you don't have the adapter (that btw is super expensive) don't even think about buying it.
if you want a nice usb hub think about Anker devices

Good multi USB port
I bought this because I need a USB multi port as my laptop only has two USB connections. I was attracted to this because it was cheap and has three USB ports, allowing me to connect a bunch of external devices with ease. The product features 3.0 transfer speed which is great because I'm often using external hard drives that need to store large files for projects on software like Logic Pro X and others, and this really helps speed up the process a little bit. I have yet to use all three ports simultaneously because I haven't had the need to yet, so I can't comment on its performance in that situation.
The piece is in a small plastic box which makes me slighty doubt the durability of it, but then again it's a cheaper product and not much can be expected in terms of construction.
However, the Lindy USB 3.0 Hub is generally a good little product that can be used for a bunch of purposes and it doesn't take up much space at all. I'd recommend this for people who would use a few external USB devices at once and also on a budget. If this broke for whatever reason, I would probably buy it again for the price, size and also usability.

Short cable
The hub works well in itself, but the short length of the cable makes it a little awkward for my setup - other users may not have an issue with it. The cable is also not a standard type, and not easily replaced, which could become a problem if it fails.
Otherwise quite happy, I have connected a MOTU MIDI interface, a hard drive and occasional sound modules for MIDI over USB, no issues in use.

Good for the price
This hub pretty much gives you what you want from it. It has 4 ports for usb devices, and one to connect to whatever device you're connecting to. I've tried it with my audio interface, keyboard and mouse, and they all work fine.
Only problems are that although other devices will connect through it they won't charge, or not much at all anyway, and that hard drives will not connect through it. Apart from that, does what it says on the tin.
