Fender Phoenix Capodaster

Good, solid capo that holds its position well up and down the neck and doesn't cause any intonation/tuning issues. There's no feeling of fragility to it and the contact areas are well-padded to protect the guitar. One minor issue is that it does require a bit of effort to get the capo fully open, which might be a bit of a challenge for newer/younger players, but the tradeoff is the secure grip on the neck.

I'm an intermediate guitar player, I use capos very ocasionally. This one is the best out of 3 that I own. Very easy to use, although it might be tough for someone with dexterity issues to open it fully, hence the 4 stars. Other than that- a must have! Also, I am very pleased with the way it came shipped to me. A nice to the eye package, that will put a smile on one's face.

Excellent capo, holds strings in tune for hours of playing without issues. I regularly tune my acoustic guitar a full step down, and then capo at the 2nd Fret for playing in standard tuning but with easier string action & faster playing. No issues whatsoever, great capo, worth the money.

The brand tells it all. Excellent quality, handling & a good grip. I have used this capo for the last few months after purchasing it from Thomann for our live services and I'm very happy with the product. The grip arm is upside down and after using it a few times you do get used to it however I don't see this as a con.

Quick to attach and remove, works well on my BEAD strung P bass

This perfectly compliments my Fender guitars, but works great and is easy to use on these and other brands of guitar. A recommended capo.

A little bit awkward to use at first as the grip arm is 'upside down' but one get used to it and the positive is that the grip arm does not get in the way when playing. Very good quality and just the right tension for both acoustic and electric.

Grip is firm, only thing if your neck profile is not C shape or slim C, for the 1st timer might use 2 hands to open the clip.

Very easy to use, well made, fits perfectly both my electric and acoustic guitars, gentle to the back of the guitar neck.
