I bought these for my Harley Benton telecaster, more for aesthetics than anything else, and I guess they come with the added benefit that the strings won't snag on any sharp edges.
They're not super cheap, but they're not really expensive either, and I'm considering getting a pair for my Affinity Strat as well, because they do look really good.
The only downside is that if you're installing these on a guitar with cheap string trees, you will most likely have to drill a small additional hole for the little knob in the front, which means you can't restore the old ones afterwards without leaving behind a couple of ugly holes.
Overall though, I do like how these look a whole lot more than the cheap ones a lot of guitars come with, and installing them wasn't a huge deal, although more work than just replacing a screw.
These are definitely worth the money for visual reason, if not for practical ones.

Parfait.
Il n'y a rien a dire, c'est de la qualité. Si c'est pour un upgrade, on appréciera les rollers qui forcent moins sur les cordes que les retainers d'origine.

Fender American Std String Guides
They do a perfect job on my Fender Player Stratocaster. No more tuning issues when using the term and a perfect strings breaking angle.
Pro: all I mentioned upon.
Cons: nothing to complain about.
Thanks to Thomann for a fast delivery.

good product, take a little care when installing
These string guides retain rotational stability by virtue of a little peg next to the screws. Make sure they're facing the right direction while you screw them in, else you'll have an unnecessary dent in your headstock.

Great replacement or addition
These are great quality replacement Fender parts. Exactly what you'd get on the original. I got these installed on a strat which didn't have any string guides. This resulted in the strings often slipping off the nut. These remedied the problem beautifully and it's as though the guitar originally came with them installed.

Original is still the best !
I replaced the vintage style string guides with this new retainers from Fender. All I can say is that the original Fender spare parts are still the best for upgrading your instrument. All by all these string guides give less friction than the vintage ones by using your trem bar and that was the intention !

Much better than 'traditional' trees
After fitting a Fender neck onto a Varian body, I found the string angle just wasn't giving me the right tension for string bends so decided to try these.
They fixed the problem immediately, but more importantly, they work beautifully due to the in-built rollers. It really makes a difference compared to traditional string trees, since the string never gets stuck at any point.
They were easy to fit, and I thought they were good value considering the difference they made.
They were a little more tricky to fit than I expected, due to the extra 'pin' which requires a small hole to be drilled behind the screw hole on your headstock. This makes sense, as without it, the trees would spin, but it wasn't all that easy to get the correct alignment to ensure the trees were nice and straight.

Simple mod
One of the simplest upgrades for my Mexican Strat was adding these String Guides.
They work and look great! Just bear in mind that you might need to drill 2 tiny holes in the headstock for these to fit in.
