Fair warning, I love D'addario. Everytime I try new brands of strings I regret it and end up coming back to these guys.
The 12-53 Phosphors are no exception. Here is what makes them great:
Sound: A little more mellow than your regular 80/20 which means the first hour or so of play already sounds great and you aren't battling the horrible trebly sounds you sometimes get on fresh strings. These strings punch and have so much low end!
Longevity: If the first hour already sounds great be prepared for very little change in sound over time. I don't know what magic they wound into this set but the sound consistency is ridiculous.
I really don't have any cons for these strings. When I play a lot (unlike at the moment) and am therefore not using ultra-light strings (such as at the moment....) for my poor wee fingers (feign pity here), I come back to these time and time again.

Daddario - cant go wrong
Hairy toes 19.08.2019
over the last few years, ive started only buying Daddario strings. they are the best for durability and they last a long time. im not one of those people that changes their strings very often, so i want my strings to last a long time and take a good beating and these do it for me.

OK. Not sure they are worth it.

Not bad. And quite expensive. Gibson Masterbilt seem better to my ear. Harley Benton Valuestrings seem just as good too, and cost over five times less!

Perfect for jumbo
Rukiruki 09.11.2021
Perfect strings for the money. I mean it is Daddario, you cant go wrong with them.
I use these for jumbo acoustic, unplugged all the time. Strings sounds perfect for me. I hate the sound for a fuw days cause I generally dont like a sound of a new strings, too metallic for me. Later on they sound great, just perfect.
