I've reamped before with ordinary DI-boxes opposite combined with preamps and building some jigs to fit the occasion - every effect pedal and amp has it's own vagaries. For example using non-true bypass FX-pedal after turned around passive DI (tricky cabling) and then feeding it into actually desired effect pedal and/or amp.
ART Dual RDB is very obvious on how to use, it is stereo! Or dual. You can adjust the level on the device, very handy feature. No power source, it is passive. Minimum wiring is needed. Personally I do not really believe the story behind ultra-expensive reamping devices. If you are reamping for full band mix, it really makes no audible difference. The only idea behind it is to match the impedances of instrument amplifier's input and line-signal's output.
I have few other ART DI boxes and they have not failed me. The construction is simple, what's there to fail?
