Makes the job so much easier.
I am one of those rare soles who changes tuning on their floyd equipped guitar a lot.
Since I purchased the guitar in 2014, I don't think I have kept a tuning consistent for more than three sets of strings.
BEFORE I purchased the Key, intonation was rather annoying to set up. You need to block off the trem and take off all the string tension before you open the saddle, then tune up, check and repeat until you are in the clear.
The key makes it so much easier. Sure, you still need to drop the tension when you insert the key, but once in and back up to tension you can keep the floyd floating, open the saddle, adjust, check, adjust etc until intonated. The trem stays floating, the tension stays.
Repeat for all the strings and you are done.
I would estimate it easily shaves a quarter to half of the time needed.
If forced for a NEGATIVE: No instructions in the pack. I had to watch a couple of videos to check I understood how to use the device correctly. (Ahem, I actually prefer this, as it produces less waste - I did say if I was *forced* for a negative =) )

Excellent product.
Fitted to my ESP. Simple to fit and works flawlessly.
My guitar now holds perfect tune even after heavy trem use.
I can now bend strings without any other strings going flat. This little gizmo really does turn your Floyd Rose equipped guitar into the perfect instrument.
Expensive but it is very well made and looks like it will last for years.
Highly recommended.

Can be tricky
Can be tricky to use, but still easier intonating with it than without.

Very good tool for standard FR
Contrary to most opinions I didn't find it so hard to use.
You need to hold it with one had and prevent it from rocking down.
You need to set your intonation with your guitar flat on your lap or table. And train your left hand to do all the tuning peg, pluck the strings and also fret the 12th fret and pluck at the same time.
Not as hard as I initially thought, I could get on all my strings in a moment.
TIP: Make sure your guitar has standard FR string retention screws with a proper head, otherwise the tool has nowhere to lock on. I had to change the screws on my Kramer Assault 220FR for that.
This tool was a real time saver, I can't imagine any other way to do the job as fast.

setting your intonation has never been easier
this thing makes setting up intonation on Floyd to be even easier than hardtail, since you can set the intonation while accurately tune the guitar, so there's no need to go back and forth of detuning and intonating

Nice tool but...
I took a bit of a chance when I ordered this since the fine tuning screws on my Peavey FR copy sits in an angle and it did not fit as it would on an FR system with the fine tuners sitting flat.
I had to modify the "fork" to make it fit behind the angled fine tuners wich made it unstable and fiddly to use.
If you have a floyd with fine tuners that sits in a straight angle it´s probably an excellent tool but if they are angled it won´t work as intended.

Perfect
Takes a little time to get used to it but makes life easy.
Must have for FR owners. not for Ibanez edge trems.

Does what it’s supposed to do
Makes intonation adjustments on Floyd Rose equipped guitars easier. Definitely worth it if you have a few Floyd Rose fitted guitars.
