Fantastic value
I bought this to get a solid foundation for recording drums and was not disappointed. After considering either getting a cheaper kit with everything I needed, or buying more expensive mics one by one, I decided to take a chance with this kit after reading and watching some reviews.
I was pleasantly surprised by what I could achieve with this kit.
The overheads are excellent, at least when paired with high-end cymbals.
With the right positioning they pick up exactly what I need - I've recorded just drums to a click track as well as together with bass and guitar in the same, rather small (~25m2) room and even with bass in the same room the bleed is very manageable.
I've also had great success using one overhead for close-micing a snare, paired with an SM57 (both phase-aligned and on top of the snare).
The kick mic is great and very versatile. I've gotten a very good sound from it, mostly in different positions inside the drum but also in front.
It makes both my 22" Pearl Wood Fiberglass and 20" Pearl MLX sing.
The tom microphones are great as well. I do prefer my Audix D2 over them but still don't mind reaching for these when I need to. As an added bonus, they sound terrific for close micing guitar cabs as well.
They come in a sturdy case that let you store them safely when not in use, and makes setting up our tearing down a breeze.
Durability is great as well; I've accidentally dropped or hit (while drumming) all but the overheads at least once, and they all still work perfectly.
All-in-all, you get enough microphones to let you record anything but the most elaborate drum kits plus a case that houses them all.
I couldn't recommend this microphone kit enough!

Great set of mics for starting out
This was the first set of drum mics I ever used and i found them a great set to start out with. They get the job done and done very well. I have used them for concerts and for recording and they've worked very well. They are amazing microphones for the price they are sold at. I would definitely recommend as an introductory set of microphones for drums. I havn't had many problems with these mics, the only thing that i can complain about is that sometimes the cymbals come out as a bit tinny in sound. I do not think they are the best mics for studio recordings though.

This is no shure or sonarworks, but its a good over all mic for toms. When i got it i didnt know what to expect. It sound great, not to big, so its easy to fit it on a kit. So if you are on a budget and need great mics this is a must buy

Great pack!
Bought these for my studio and love them! We did a review on our YouTube channel, Black Bridge Sound. They sound fantastic and so far have been quite durable. Even did a side by side comparison of the kick drum mic to a Shure Beta 52 and they sound almost identical!

Fantastic deal for this price
I've been hesitating to buy it, though I liked the sample provided. I am 1000% satisfied with the purchase, really good characteristics, good sound, the tom mics are excellent for toms and snares as well with that warm but real dynamic "type" of sound , and the overhead mics have great sounds, true brightness for the purpose. Low distortion, low noise, great dynamics and sound. I could achieve a professional drum sound with this very good package. It would be great to have a little bit bigger package with two or more mics in a bigger set where I could use for 5 toms plus room.
I am also thrilled with the service, I'll definitely come back with more orders. Thanks!

i like the case actually, i use it for something else but just that is a plus.
the mics sound pretty good but those for cymbales, seems to me the signal isn't strong enough but the others mics are great.

Good little set
Didn't want to spend a fortune on a drum mic set, but also didn't get the cheapest. These are really good solid microphones. Well built, and sound good. My one problem is that the overhead mics need to use their own size holder, so if it breaks will be a struggle to get a replacement.
