Drum Heads
Still a classic drum head. When I bought my new Kirchhoff transparent acrylic drum kit here from Thomann I thought of no other drum head. The classic see through drums with the look that so many brought to them over the years. Being a huge Tony Williams fan and seeing the Remo CS clear dots on his kit meant these guys were a must for me. The heads really deliver that control over the more unpleasant over tones and allow the drums to sing in most rooms without too much any dampening. Small tops give punch while larger floor toms retain the big low end without getting out of control. The biggest surprise to me was the result on my snare drums. These heads allow a really wide range of tuning possibilities. At low tunings the dot keeps the drum centre solid so your rudiment playing feeling like being played on a much tighter drum. Pretty much goes for the whole kit. Maybe not for those heavy hitters who a lot of volume.

Crank it up!
Put this on a steel shell 14x5 snare. Playing in a reggae band, and I absolutely cranked the hell out of this head.. 1 year later it?s still going strong!!!

Not my cup of tea
See it a lot at live gigs. Tried it for our church (also a live gig), but the tone is flat. Not much body. It is a durable one, but that's all for me.

Classic drum head for a classic sound
Overall quality and durability is surprisingly good for a single ply head. The center dot gives a nice focused sound that works well in many different genres of music. Cant go wrong with this one!
