Ich spiele Otto Link Kautschuk jetzt auf meinen drei Saxophonen (Sopran 6*, Alto 6*/7*, Tenor 7* Vintage) und bin mit allen hochzufrieden.
Zuerst hatte ich auf dem Sopran ein Meyer 8, dann ein Vandoren V5 SOPRAN SAX S 25. Das Otto Link finde ich am meisten ausgewogen, warm und variabel in der Klangestaltung. Ich spiele damit Jazz und Klassik, wobei ich kein typisches Klassiksoundkonzept habe.
Am Anfang schien mir das dunkle am Ton zu überwiegen, aber mit Geduld und Spucke kann man dem Mundstück einen vollen und hellen Klang entlocken. Ich finde es im Vergleich zu meinen anderen SopranMPCs mit dem OL leichter und realistischer, auch in der höheren Lage noch warm zu klingen. Am Ende liegt es aber sicher mehr am Spieler, als am Mundstück ...
