Cheap backup for light mics
Good as a cheap backup or fixed use so you can leave it when you go off.
Drummers and percussionist already have enough to de-install when packing for a gig, I like to have as much as possible as a double that stays in the big bags.
The clamp has an extra tightening screw, which is necessary because without it, clamp itself would not stay put on anything.
The flexible neck is short, but kinda does the job.
If your mic weighs like a feather. Not interchangable. Not flexible how you want it, just how it's imited to do, which is usually one way.
So with a little consideration, this can only be used as a cheap back up, for some very low key permanent install, but in the end its a waste of money for anything more serious than one time amateur music events in the living room with a lightweight mic.

Cheap, but not ideal for heavier microphones.
These are certainly very tempting for the price and I ended up buying a few I think. But really you're getting what you pay for in terms of the quality and practicality here. The plastic hoop mounts and goose neck aren't really up to much in terms of force, and you will find that any microphone of any kind of substantial weight such as a Shure SM-57 will just start slipping and sliding around under the strain. I can see this being used with very small and light microphones but that's about it.

It's plastic.
Seems solid enough, but it's made of plastic...given the tightness required to get a solid grip, it feels like it's going to break any second. Mind you, I've had it quite a while and it still hasn't cracked yet.

An okay product
Don't expect too much from it, but it works! Depending on how much you're going to depend on it, can be a good or okay purchase!
