Awesome (except for one thing).
So this box does exactly what it says on the tin, I can?t notice any latency and now I don?t have to turn all equipment on to midi sequence with my DAW and can focus on just using what I need at the time. This does come with 1 slight issue which is why it?s not 5 stars.
The units powered via MIDI, which is pretty cool and it means no power plug, the issue is that there?s a mammoth laundry list of equipment that can?t power it, all my interfaces, Focusrite Clarett 8Pre, Scarlett 18i20, 18i8 can?t power it, so unfortunately I have to pass the midi out of my interface into my Roland TD-8 and then into the thru box which is a little disappointing.
Aside from that, it?s great, it?s also the only rack mount unit I know of which also prevents leads and smaller boxes being all over the floor.

If you have more than a couple of midi devices, this is a must.
Used in a rather retro home setup up of hardware synths controlled by an Atari ST that were previously connected in series.
Everything sounds way tighter and more stable, the back of the rack looks more organised instead of a rat's nest of midi cables and I don't have to switch on all my synths to use the last one in the chain as I has to do previously.
I haven't tried any other midi thru boxes so I can't compare it - but as long as the MIDI coming out is the same as the MIDI going in, what more could you ask for?

Simple and straightforward MIDI routing system
I own a couple of these T8 Thru units in conjunction with MIDI Solutions' Quadra Merge to allow me to route and distribute MIDI to all my synths and MIDI controlled gear in my studio.
