Compact and powerful PA system

The LD Systems Dave 15 G4X is a compact active PA system comprising an active 15" subwoofer and two midrange satellite speakers that are each equipped with an 8" diaphragm and two tweeters. With a total system output of 1,030W RMS, the subwoofer’s digital amplifier module provides sufficient PA power for venues with an audience of up to 200. This PA system covers a wide frequency range that goes from 33Hz up to 20kHz as well as a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of up to 130dB. All three components feature a bass reflex design that ensures an extended bass response, and the integrated DynX DSP technology delivers a distortion-free sound. The LD Systems Dave 15 G4X comes with selectable mode presets for two different subwoofer-satellite setups and boasts a six-channel mixer that also includes an equaliser and reverb. Of course, wireless audio streaming and sound output via Bluetooth are also possible.

DSP FX and channel strips

With its waveguides and FIR filters, the LD Systems Dave 15 G4X features state-of-the-art tools that ensure a homogeneous dispersion and a transparent, powerful sound reproduction of excellent quality. The subwoofer comprises a custom-made 15" woofer that is driven by a ferrite magnet voice coil, and the 4-ohm satellite speakers comprise 0.5" tweeters with strong neodymium magnets as well as custom-made 8" midrange speakers that also use ferrite magnets. This PA system comes with professional loudspeaker sockets for connecting the bass and satellite speakers with a crossover frequency of 105Hz between the audio sources. What is more, it is equipped with two inputs with switchable sensitivity for microphones, instruments, or line-level sources, a two-band equaliser, and an adjustable reverb function for simple sound shaping via DSP as well as an optical digital input for SPDIF stereo signals.

For DJs, clubs, and small theatres

The LD Systems Dave 15 G4X is the ideal choice for DJs who are looking for a complete and portable active PA system with a powerful bass response for parties. It will also contribute to a successful performance for solo entertainers playing in event halls in front of an audience of up to 200, and bands can use the Dave 15 G4X, which also allows wireless controlling of external media players, for live shows in closed venues up to the size of larger youth centres or small clubs. This PA system offers optimum flexibility for event organisers since it can be used either as a permanently installed or as a stationary system in cabarets, small theatres, or dance studios. High operational reliability is ensured through short circuit, limiter, and overload protection circuits as well as LED status indicators. And with its powerful sound output and high speech intelligibility, the Dave 15 G4X will also win over singers, actors, speakers, and presenters alike.

About LD Systems

LD Systems originated in Germany and is a brand of the Adam Hall Group. The company’s ambition is to give musicians the freedom they need to effectively express their musical ideas on stage. To achieve this, LD Systems has developed products that include affordable speaker series, wireless microphones, and in-ear monitoring systems. LD Systems attaches great importance to the durability and user-friendliness of its products. Right from the development stage, attention is paid to simple, intuitive, and effective operability. LD Systems also pays great attention to the design of its equipment, so that the technology is not only acoustically but also visually attractive. Accordingly, LD Systems has already been awarded several renowned design prizes.

Highly flexible and always on point

The highly flexible LD Systems Dave 15 G4X is suitable for frequent transport to different venues thanks to the robust polyurea coating on the subwoofer and satellite speakers. However, this also means that the PA system is on the heavier side, weighing in at a total of 53.9kg, and the subwoofer, which tips the scales at over 34kg, therefore features two carrying handles, while each satellite, at nearly 10kg, has one handle to help maximise portability. Of course, subwoofer and satellites are equipped with flanges that allow them to be mounted on speaker stands or distance rods, which will come in particularly useful in karaoke or sports bars, for example. With a dispersion of 90° horizontal and 30° vertical, this PA system ensures homogeneous acoustics that can be optimally directed towards the audience’s head level. What is more, the satellite speakers allow latency-free coupling and even M/S splitting using the M20 stand flanges and an optional T-stand.
