A pole mount for a subwoofer done properly!
Bought this as an upgrade for a pair of singe 15 subs that had the usual 35mm pole socket in. The problem with the traditional 35mm mount is that it's either just too wobbly that the pole and top box sit at a angle, or they're so tight that they get jammed in.
This solves the problem. A sturdy diecasting into which you screw a proper 20mm threaded speaker pole. Perfectly strong and exactly upright.
Had to make sure that plate was very secure, by adding an additional 150mm square piece of plywood inside the sub cabinet.
Very well made and has a tough powder coast finish that has not marked with extensive use.

Great quality casting.
I wanted to mount an m20 thread pole onto my deck stand shelf, the good quality and slim depth of these were perfect to fit into the 18mm thick bird.

Good quality product
The tread is a bit narrow at the end. I First thouhgt that my speaker pole tread was to long, but it becomes narrower at the end. I've put some machine oil on it to lubricate.
Perfect fit on the Turbosound Subs ( no drilling needed )

Better than a top hat.
These plates are much better in a bass bin than a top hat, they are solid and maintain that the pole is always vertical, you can easily replace top hats with these units.

Brilliant
The K & M 24116 is a fantastic purchase, possibly the best our band has ever made.
Our old speaker stand just sat into the mount, and the top would often shake, or if people knocked into the bass bin then the top would look like it was going to fall sometimes, also taking the speaker off the stand was awkward sometimes.
With the purchase of this speaker mount we don't need to worry about that any more, everything stays steady and the speakers are easy to take off the pole

Very strong and well made
I added two of these to a pair of speakers, making it possible to add poles on the top to support other speakers. They're good and strong and are very well made. When I screw speaker poles into them, they feel totally secure and stand perfectly upright. Good item at a good price.

Reliable product as you can expect from K&M
We build custom sound systems for pro-audio use, and we used these on our sub-woofer floor cabinets for a live rig. They were coupled with K&M ring lock distance rods and served their purpose well. They handled a weight of about 30 kg without issues.

Caution
These are very well made and do the job but.... I bought a pair to swap over those in Mackie SWA bins as I prefer the M20 threaded fixing to discover the bolt fixings are in a slightly differenet spacing - so they're not a direct replacement!
