Useful
Using for miking multiple drums from single stand. Very useful for this purpose as it minimises the amount of mic stand legs competing for floor real estate when multi-miking a kit. The stand is well built to expected K&M standards. Unfortunately it lacks a telescopic arm which limits its versatility and ease of positioning your microphone in certain situations.

A very practical extension
This microphone arm can be attached to a robust music stand such as K&M 118/3 in a recording studio, for a reading musician, providing microphone support, or as auxiliary branch for mounting an additional microphone onto a microphone "tree" (such as M-S stereo miking or vocals + guitar). It is of traditionally good K&M build, it helps against crowding the workspace with stands and can also bear heavier microphones.
What this product lacks is extendable tube construction, so the length of the arms could be fine-tuned to possible space requirements and constraints.
Although the price-performance ratio is really good, it would have been very useful if the mounting vice was also engineered for secure attaching to profiles other than tube profiles.

Pros and cons
The quality is top! Very steady, everything works perfect. The problem is that you can't hook it on to any stand (like a music stand) because the arm is too close. My intention was to put it on a music stand but it won't do.

Good option.
Good option for second boom arm. Can be improved - where the boom arm attaches to the leg could be an option to rotate it by180 degrees, otherwise it is difficult to mount and it can only be used in one way.

Perfect, just what I was looking for
Some users here have complained about the size of the clamp, but I just took delivery of mine, got it out of the box, and Straight onto my mic stand, No problems at all. In fact, I really like the design of the clamp, with a metal angle on one side of the stand and Rubber pads on the ends of the screws.
Works and fits perfectly, another great Solid product by K&M.
I chose this arm instead of a stereo bar, it's much more flexible and less fiddly when I sit down with the stand next to me.

Indispensabile in studio
È davvero indispensabile quando hai bisogno di attaccare un microfono in piu e non hai tanto spazio. Robusto e fatto molto bene, regge anche microfoni di un certo peso senza problemi

K&M 24010 Mic arm
If you require an additional mic for your instrument then this is the product for you. It attaches easily to a mic stand and can be adjusted to position a second mic for your instrument thus offsetting the need for an additional instrument microphone stand. As with all K&M products the quality is second to none and its sturdy, robust construction ensures that you won't be disappointed.

Snug fit on a K&M stand
Works fine, but the clamp needs redesigning. You have to uncrew the bolts all the way out of the treads to mount/unmount the thing on a standard mic-stand, and the threads hardly enter when secured. Why it has long screws with 5cm or more of threads is beyond me, when the clamp won't open more than just enough to grip on to the thinnest of mic-stands.
