BEST by FAR
Having played bass for 30yrs and road tested(and destroyed) just about every make of bass amp out there and being blown away buy hartke lh1000 heads i knew their practice amps wouldnt let me down. This is buy far THE best small amp for the money out there right now.Great build quality, solid punchy lows and sharp clear mids and highs. Its a simple amp that doesnt need bells and whistles to make it stand out.Its basic,It more than does the job and you wont be disapointed.

I am very pleased about this purchase, it's a great Amp. I have played before on Hartke amps, and since then I wanted one for my home. Living in an apartment 50W are for sure enough, even for a garage sized practice room. The sound of the HD50 is very clear and smooth. I absolutely love it. No bad things to say about it. Maybe I am not that hard to please, but this is the best buy I could do. It's just what I needed for my home and my little practice room, where I play with my band.
PROS: price/quality 10 out of 10
easy to move around
headphones out for practicing, without disturbing others
aux input for backing tracks
CONS: It would have been nice to have a line out that does not stop the amp (so that it can be used as a monitor, but it's fine even without that)
I absolutely recommend. Thank you Thomann for your exceptional service!

Good amp for its price
First of all, I absolutely love the sounds this amp can produce. Its volume is high enough for some good jamming and maybe for a small budget stage. You really get what you pay for and that is on the positive side.
Only con is that the volume button gets some weird buzzing sounds when handeling.

Great sound in a solid package
I use it for jamming with friends with my Squier VM jazz bass. It's just loud enough to be heard with our drummers and loud guitar. For small gigs it would be fine.
Others and I have been really impressed with the clarity of sound and punch with pick or fingers. It's also got enough boom for reggae and subtle enough for folk. No rattles from the body.
The EQ is useful as is the headphones and aux input. I would prefer the controls on the front but that's personal preference.

Woooooow
I was blown off my feet with the sound. Even though with no tweeter, the sound is crystal clear, with more than enough power for practice, even with a band. This combined with the price is a no brainer! Excellent

Great budget amp
This is a good sounding, loud amp for an affordable price - perfect for someone starting out who is going to play in a band and needs something a bit louder than a typical bedroom amp. The options are a bit limited with only a volume and 3 EQ knobs, but an aux input and a headphone output is included which is nice.

A very good amp for it's price and wattage.
I use it for almost 2 weeks and recommend it to people who likes their amps simple yet powerful.

I bought this combo amp with my first bass guitar for practice. Even though I have no experience with other amps to compare I am very happy with my purchase. It has rich warm sound and more than enough volume for practice. It is a bit heavy for a practice amp but it compensates with its sound. For its price it is a 5*!
