Sturdy and great value!
Gator cases are very well made but won’t break the bank. If you’ve got a precious instrument it’s good to know it’s well protected. The only downside is the position of the handle which unbalances the weight.

Very Strong but uncomfortable handle
I used this for flights and traveling. It kept my acoustic very safe, so I have full trust in it. The case itself took a slight chip after a couple of flights, but that's expected I suppose.
Sadly, the handle is extremely uncomfortable for anything other than picking it up. If you need to walk with it for a while it will likely cause you some pain.

Decent light duty travel case
I bought this along with a Takamine acoustic, as I thought it would be better to protect a good guitar with something more than a gig bag. It fits the guitar perfectly and is solidly made for the light duty it was intended to serve.
I transport my guitar to rehearsals and gigs in my car with a few plastic boxes of cables and accessories, a bass guitar in an ABS case, amp and a couple of stands - so nothing heavy or sharp, but still it is taking damage with cuts in the vinyl on the edges, although the guitar is well protected.
There is a useful compartment for spare strings, capo, etc under the neck support. The balance of the case is good.
So although this is good for what it is supposed to be I now know that I should have bought an ABS case instead.

Heavyweight case which provides good protection for the guitars. The only drawback l have found is that the clasps can break as the hinge pins could be more robust.

A fair-priced decent case
My intention was to fit inside my Epiphone Songmaker DR-212, a twelve string guitar. My main concern was the huge headstock that this guitar has but eventually, it fits! However, it leaves a gap around the body of about 3cm. The guitar moves around a little bit but not in way that can be worrying. As for the case, it looks sturdy, with expected normal weight. Not for extreme heavy use, but for the instrument protection and moving around is ok. The lock could have been better, I get the feeling that if I start using it by locking each time, I might have an issue sooner or later. I have seen the same look in all Gator cases within this price range. But I don't use, so I am not worrying for that. I prefer cases instead of gig bags for my guitars and this one offers me the protection I needed.

Nice case, a little on the heavy side, but very robust and does what it's supposed to, all in all a happy purchase.

Very good but not perfect
This case is generally quite good, the guitar is perfectly protected and the case is sturdy. However, after a few bumps, the case showed scratches here and there and even some broken parts, showing the inner layer below the external shell. Very good but probably not recommendable for heavy duty use.

Gives good protection
Bought this for my thin solid wood guitar, i felt my guitar would not live long if i buy myself soft bag, so bought most cheaper hard ase from Thommann. It is well built and keeps guitar safe. Only thing i do not like so much is outside material, feels cheap and not so well made.

Good for the price
Seems pretty robust and should last if looked after. The only issue I have found is that the top only closes with a bit of persuasion, as it has not been attached to the based accurately. You just have to push the top forward a bit

Decent for the price
Good for the price. Not luxury but will give good protection. Mainly purchased because I need to keep my guitar in a garden room. My guitar is not high end and if I was travelling with an expensive guitar I would probably pay more for a better case, but this one, for the price, more than meets my requirements
