Don't use it as a phono preamp
This thing is cheap, and as such, doesn't function that great. The line-in and line-out are quiet, but when switching to the phono input, an audible static can be heard, sitting at around -40dB. This makes it not usable for recording off of a turntable.
But, this is to be expected with a cheap product.

Basic but very practical
This audio interface is really practical, with SPDIF, phono input option, input and output. I've used it on Mac OS and Raspberry PI and never had any issues. I bought it for a coax digital output and it's one of the only ones i've found. I've never used it in a super hi-fi environment but find the sound reasonable. The digital output either works or it doesn't and it works.

Overall a great purchase
I got the product together with an American Audio turntable, but I use it instead for recording. A small, light plastic box, easy to carry. The sound quality could be better and there is a notable delay in feedback, but for the price it is totally acceptable. The build quality is decent and it seems to be quite durable. I would recommend this audio interface for bedroom DJ-s and -producers, it's a great little unit to fulfill your basic needs from a single input audio interface.

Cheap phono pre amp for cheap recording
Not really happy with this one, it creates a lot of noise and is not very stable in terms of usb connection, but than again, what do you expect for the price. For the hobbiest could be fine equipment , for the proffesional a big no no.
