My new favourite toy
The BFSD Snare-Bourine donut is my new favourite toy,
It feels solid, and sits nicely on the snare head, albeit slightly raised due to the butts of the tambourine hats(?).
It adds a rather enjoyable phat low tune to the snare, complementing it with the high clasp of the tambourine hats(?).

Big. Fat & Different!
The BFSD came to more like an experiment and ended up basically on my snare on a daily basis - It give the snare drum the low end that I like and crisp tambourine harmonics, that are very unexpected and pleasant for the listeners...
on the other hand - it takes time to get used to it if You want to do a simple cross stick shot, but by the time - it?s fine...
Also, the biggest issue is that the jingles are very fragile and their form changes ?somehow?...

Quality add on.
Ideal for Tampa/Classic soul grooves for me.

Exactly What I expected
Looking for something to add to my snare sound in a R & B band and this did it perfectly. The tambourines aren't to intrusive and blend nicely with the snare itself. It especially sounds cool with snare rolls as they roll add a nice sound!
