Ok, here we go. I own 18 guitars and have been playing for 35 years. I've been a pro player and teacher for over 25 years.
This guitar is great for it's price, sounds good, intonation is good, the overall quality is actually pretty stunning. Since all reviews about it are great, let me add my 5 cents to it. Before i bought this (out of curiosity mainly) i've only had expensive guitars (from 1500 to 6000 euros range), so i'm used to excellent playing instruments. The only downside to this guitar is its playability, i don't like jumbo frets, too high for my taste, and this baby has them. Also, don't expect to get too much of a low action on it, it's not made for that. So, it's a guitar i'll use for rhythm playing (rock), it really sings with open chords. The tuners are also not top of the line as it goes out of tune when i get bendy, but nothing i haven't experienced on much more expensive guitars before (i own a strat made in the US that's worse as far as this goes). This is the only concerns i have with it so far, but once again, i'm stunned that such quality for the price instruments are being made nowadays. Even unplugged it sounds loud and clear. Kudos to Harley Benton for this, and if you fancy an inexpensive DC junior, do not hesitate one second.
