Great alternative to traditional reeds
Imagine the following scene: you leave your sax on a stand, with neck, mouthpiece and reed put on, and go doing something else. Then, you come back after a while, grab your sax and start playing it immediately. No need to soak the reed, no problem with humidity changes, you just play and it works. That's the beauty of synthetic reeds! For those who are learning to play they are a true blessing, as they remove all wasted time used to perform stuff with cane reeds (and the uncertainty that cane reeds pose. How many student asked the question: "it is me, or the reed?") which is not actual playing time and therefore detract from actual learning.
They are also very consistent. I am now using my sixth Legere reed and they all came out of the box in perfect conditions and with no noticeable differences (apart from the expected ones, like playing with different reed strengths). To my -still rather untrained- ear they sound just slightly brighter compared to similar cane reeds (e.g. when compared, say, to unfiled Select Jazz or Rico orange box). That subtle additional brightness works for me, but it is not necessarily good for everyone. What I like is also how easier is to hit the lower notes as compared to many cane reeds I have tried. I am now happily using Legere Signature reeds every day and I would definitely advice any fellow sax student to do likewise.

Got a more open sound compare to my old plastic reeds
Since I do not play so much per gig, it is very useful with this kind of reeds, but my old reeds made a more muted sound in the mid registers so I started to look for new reeds, and when I changed to this one, my Selmer Mark 6 got a new life again, much more open sound.

Excellent
Good quality reeds and consistent, although I’ve returned to using cane I always carry these as a back up just in case.

A safe choice!
Living on the north-west coast of Norway where the humidity and temperature changes are huge, my cane reeds felt unreliable. But with Legere signature it feels safe and easy every time. If I play outside in cold november rain, or in a warm dry room the reed works great!

You can't get better than these
Much more robust and long-lived than standard reeds. Use for everything saxophonical.

Superior reed.
I have been using Legere reeds for as couple of years. This was the first 'Signature' reed I have purchased and I have to say I am greatly impressed. Needless to say the service from Thomann was superb - many thanks - I always shopping with your firm.

You just have to try one
Bought this after seeing many Youtube videos and reading several reviews. So just had to try it. Totally awesome. Played exceptionally well straight out of the packet. Went down from 2 1/2 Rico Plasticover to a 2 1/4 - Good choice. This is not plastic - it is magic.
