iConnectivity mioXL

Llamar a este interfaz sólo eso, es quedarse corto. Es un procesador MIDI, router MIDI, con 8 entradas MIDI y 12 salidas bajo DIN, además con 10 conectores MIDI a través de USB, sin contar con el que lo conecta con el ordenador, además tiene protocolo RTP-MIDI a través de conexión ethernet. También tiene un panel con pantalla OLED para visualizar nombres de los presets y flujo de datos MIDI y panel táctil para seleccionar varias visualizaciones o cargar/guardar presets, también un dial para seleccionar presets, con botón incluido para apagar/encender el equipo, todo en un chasis metálico robusto.
Esto es la parte física, la parte "software" te permite enviar cualquier entrada a cualquier salida, hacer merger entre varias entradas, filtro de mensajes MIDI, re encaminamiento de datos a otros canales, cambiar nombre a los distintos puertos, ... Esto se hace con el software Auracle, que es bastante cómodo de utilizar y permite gestionar las memorias internas. Es decir, una vez tengo un set de encaminamientos, filtros,... lo puedo guardar en una de las 30 memorias internas que tiene el mioXL, lo que me permite utilizar este "interfaz" sin necesidad de tener conectado el ordenador.
Si tienes un equipo MIDI abundante y quieres tenerlo todo conectado sin necesidad de desconectar un equipo para poner otro o hacer uso de varias cajas merger o thru, este es tu equipo, además de todas las opciones de procesado MIDI que tiene, que son apabullantes. Lo dicho, altamente recomendable.

I was looking for a device that would route all my MIDI connections in the studio and I almost bought a vintage 19" rack device (EDIROL UM-880) when I found out about this product. (ofc no warranty for the vintage gear and price was 80% of this unit)
I have already used all the connections (USB, DAW, MIDI) and everything works as expected. The setup is straightforward although you need to use a computer. However you can save routing presets and then use it without a computer which is one of the advantages over other similar products that only work with computer connected. The build quality is perfect, design looks really good and feels like using high-end device. The software is well made, fast, easy to use. For someone the price might be too high, but you really get what you pay for. You can also get one of the smaller versions if you have smaller setup. Overall this product is great and I am perfectly happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone who uses a lot of MIDI devices as this is going to make your life so much easier.
