Harley Benton Fusion-III HH FR Roasted FCH

This Guitar the Harley Benton Fusion-III HH FR Roasted FCH has a fit and finish worth the price, but due to pricing I think some features are a bit lacking, as the pickups are thin and underpowered making the instrument sound thin and lacking in presence and the tone control has some noise in it. The neck is very playable and feels comfortable moving up and down the neck due to the finish which is flat. I do have an issue with the truss rod adjusting the roasted neck though. The neck is quite stiff due to the hardness of the wood making the adjustments very small regardless of the amount of turning on the truss rod nut. After having ordered this with a roasted neck I would rather have a non-roasted neck. I have tried to adjust the truss rod because of the height of the strings is too high at the upper fretboard, but the neck is too stiff to move very much. After some relief of the neck the lower frets ring on the strings. So I've been able to find a medium adjustment which is acceptable, albeit not optimal. I feel obligated to give an assessment of this gear for the next customer looking to get a guitar that is worth paying for. This guitar is beautiful to look at and it plays very, very well. The emphasis on this guitar seems to be the total package, but the electronics do suffer. It has a fine looking maple top with crisp looking details all around. The clear coat is flawless under close inspection. This company is noteworthy having a process that makes fine looking guitars. I would venture to say putting very nice pickups in this guitar and having a slightly straighter neck, this would be my favorite guitar and I have several very nice, very expensive guitars. Honesty is the best policy

As with everything else i've ever ordered from Thomann delivery was fast and i was kept up to date with tracking the whole way.
The guitar was well packaged but i did have other items so it came in a larger box, i'm unsure how it would be packaged if it was just a guitar being sent.
Out of the box the guitar was very well set up and i only had to make a couple of minor adjustments to suite my playing style (there's a few big name guitar makers who could learn a few things here)
Guitar looks stunning and much better than in the pictures.
I'd heard mixed reviews on the roswell pickups but after trying all combinations and the split coil i'm impressed, i expected to be changing these out but for now they will stay and i will see how i get on with them.
Overall i am more than happy with this guitar and i have no idea how Harley Benton can offer a guitar with these specs at this price point with such good quality control. I will definitely be considering HB in the future when buying a guitar.

I wanted a guitar with Floyd Rose and after seeing this one at this price I had to buy it...
The guitar arrived today and I was stunned by the overall quality.
For this price, to have a guitar with this beautiful roasted maple neck that feels quite like the one of my Ibanez AZ prestige made in Japan, the Floyd Rose 1000, stainless steel frets and Grover tuners is amazing.
The frets and paint jobs are also really well done.
I only had to tune it and it was ready to play. The action and intonation were good, maybe I'll lower a little the action but it's fine. No buzz. Floyd Rose well adjusted.
The only flaw is a really tiny bump on the back of the neck but I can live with it, I don't feel it while playing, you've got to look very closely to see it.
The pickups sound good, especially with clean sound, I was surprised. The split coil sounds too thin to me.
I'll be changing them and the electronics anyway for Fishman Fluence Moderns.
This guitar has incredible specs and quality for the price, with new pickups it's a really serious guitar.
I'm really happy with my choice, I didn't expect this quality in a Harley Benton.

I bought this guitar a year ago, for a year I can say the following: mechanical parts of Floyd rose and Grover work perfectly, everything is adjusted clearly and simply, the fingerboard is established, with strong fret, although it looks not so graceful as on the photo, it is excellent and comfortable to play, and the fret despite the frequent moves from country to country sit well.Also a big plus was a good tuning of the instrument from the box.The main drawback of the guitar in my opinion is the electronics, although the sound of the pickups is not bad, but the soldering and the quality of the rest of the electronics is not at the highest level.After half a year the switch started to work badly and I decided to change all the electronics.Bottom line, after a year I can honestly say that the guitar has no competitors for such money.
Advantages:
Great fittings.
Good customization right out of the box.
Great appearance, almost like the picture.
The price is very good for this guitar.
Disadvantages:
Need to change the electronics to better quality electronics.
The rest of the disadvantages are purely subjective.
