This guitar is absolutely stunning. Firstly, I will touch upon the positive aspects of it; afterwards, I will mention some of the drawbacks; lastly, I will provide a short explanation of my choice to keep the instrument for as long as I did.
The guitar is comfortable. Yes, this has been discussed at lengths by reviewers and the company itself. However, the extent to which this guitar is different and more comfortable because of that difference cannot be overstated. The neck is the most absurdly comfortable thing in existence. It is extremely intuitive to get into and the fanned frets combined with the shape provide for immense ease of playing.
The variety of sounds this guitar provides is also a huge benefit, the pickups work great with cleans, crunch tones, leads and ambient parts.
The finish is great and the craftsmanship on these guitars is notable.
Some drawbacks exist. Firstly, the stock pickups do not do it for me. They are good for many things, but they always felt too bright for me. This could be dealt with somehow via the other parts of the signal chain, but I never felt fully satisfied with the stock pickups. Secondly, it is extremely light. That was great for leads and longer playing, but I was really missing something I could really dig into.
I sold the guitar after a year of playing - it was amazing, but I am more of a heavy riff rhythm player, so I felt like it was not meant for me. In case I have a bit more money laying around, I would not mind grabbing another one for home playing. However, it did not feel like a main guitar for my purposes.
