It is a great bridge, but it has some QC and design issues
Mateii 31.08.2020
I installed this bridge on a custom made hardtail ST guitar.
I really liked the idea of having adjustable position for the strings in the bridge.
The locking feature provides a plus of stability over time, which I found a design plus.

Design issues:
Unfortunately, the string adjustment is not working really as advertised: when the roller is adjusted to an extreme position, the string makes a relatively strong knick and teds to jump out of the saddle groove.
Also, there are positions where the string comes in contact with the saddle body and this causes obvious buzzing. The buzzing is not picked up by the magnetic pickups, but it is there, and very annoying.

QC issues:
I had 4 saddle height adjustment screws that were not cut correctly. They were EXTREMELY hard to adjust and needed some re-cutting of the threads.

Overall:
Leaving the aforementioned issues to the side, this is an extremely versatile bridge, fitting a broad range of guitars and needs, especially because it comes with an extra height adjustment plate. The string position adjustment is great when trying to align the strings with the pickup poles on non-standard string spacing.

Ot
Hard Tail Bridge
Oscar the Jazz Dog 24.08.2017
I have a 70's era Strat, made in Japan, with a full trem system, for those 80's dive bombing sounds. I hate it.
This looked like a reasonable product, so I bought it to fit onto the Strat.
It's amazing. It has intonation as usual, but the real secret here is it has string spacing as well. I can adjust the space between all the srtings. That means I can centre each string direclty above the pole peices on the pickups.
That's amazing, and it works. Good German engineering, solid bit of kit, and a very happy customer.

A BRIDGE TOO FAR!
RobL 09.01.2014
A REALLY SUPER BRIDGE. WELL ENGINEERED AND ALLOWS A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT
OF ADJUSTMENT. FAR BETTER THAN SAY A TELECASTER/STRATOCASTER TYPE END STOP BRIDGE WERE THE ADJUSTMENT IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED. IF ANYBODY IS BUILDING A SOLID BODY GUITAR OR SIMPLY REPLACING A BRIDGE ~ THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU! SCHALLER BRIDGES ARE REALLY WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY WHEN COMPARED WITH CHEAPER BRIDGES AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET. THE 477 IS SIMPLICITY ITSELF WHEN IT COMES TO FITTING ~ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
