Sturdy and soft
Same reason I bought the brown one years ago: this feels soft and sturdy, a bit stiff, but I much prefer that in a guitar strap.
The brown one I've had for 7-8 years and it still feels and looks great.
Highly recommended!

nice, but fragile strap for light instruments
a nice comfy strap for lighter and non-neck diving instruments.
it's stiff out of the package and benefits from some break-in.
on the positive side, it's very well padded, so it doesn't cut into your shoulder even with heavy instruments.
on the negative side, the construction seems a bit fragile, I've attached strap locks once and not taking them off, I'll see, how it holds. the strap already developed cracks near the top button, where it folds when hanging on a guitar, it took only several months.
also the leather grain looks like somebody took a not great piece of leather, and tried to cut it in aesthetic way. not really sure, if that part is glued of multiple pieces or not.
frankly, I had great expectations about this strap being non-slippery, as other reviews suggest. to me, it's not, it's just the same grip as in all other leather-backed straps of this width, i.e. slippery. if your instrument has a neck dive, it'll slip.
this exact colour with a contrasting stitch IMO looks great, less cheesy than the solid black color. the stitch on mine turned out cream, not white (as on pictures), but it's the way I like it better.

Lives up to the Richter Name.
Superbly crafted strap. Supports where it should, feels comfortable, smells beautiful - that smell that leads people to say 'I love the smell of leather'. I remember many years ago watching a Car Review Programme supposed to give the Pros and Cons of the cars when the reviewer said he knew that was what he was required to do, but he couldn't find any faults with the car. Well, this Strap is like that - I can't find any faults with it, from the beautiful design physically to the double row of stitching, this is the Guitar Strap the others long to be.

Great quality, really comfortable. I’m pretty sure it’ll last a life time.
