For years I wished something like this Rubber Handless
M0rvius 01.10.2024
Not so Happy with them. First I did't know that they are build for the old Concorde Series... Anyhow, my point is that I had to use a cutter blade and I carefully chopped the plastic handles (did them, a bit smaller). I won't recommend this procedure to anyone. It's time consuming requires Skilled hamds and if you do anything wrong... word case scenario some blood or fingers!!! or less dramatic you messed up the Tonearm Handles so you need new ones now. And the best case :)! Your hands are skilled and you managed the little hobby knife so good that every professional surgical doctor will admire your precision and accuracy. Well I did the lest Scenario and my rubber tonearm are fitted so perfect by me. Too bad that they have manufacturing flaws like they are designed to protect your Grandpa Shovel.
Conclusion:
Let's say you are the experienced buyer who still uses the MK1 Concorde and you purchase this article. Congrats for you please tell me how good you find the Craftsmanship?
Hey buddy! If somehow you also purchased this without a 3min. market research. Hopping that they will bound on your tone arm's handles like a magic snow-glow. So? how did they strap on the long MK2 Arm?
p.s A little advice if you aren't a Turntable butcher. Some hand cream helps and makes the rubber a bit smoother ;) Just don't touch your vinyls after you drop the needle ok? Cheers mate!
Drop a like on this if I made you laugh.
