I bought this to make my setup smaller and easier to transport for touring, and while I do absolutely love it, I still feel like it does need a little bit in the sound department. I still prefer my analog gear, but this does get a long way there. A lot of it can be remedied by using the editor and built in EQs, compressors and so on, but that takes up blocks and DSP, that makes it less versatile.
Editing on the unit is also a bit of a hassle in my opinion, but using it with the computer makes it much easier, and has become my preferred way to edit my presets and snapshots.
But I still absolutely love my Stomp, and I've been using it as a stand alone rig for most of the live shows I play these days, and while I feel it has it's quirks, I still absolutely love it, and how easy it has made playing live.
