Obviously no contest for a properly miked up Martin acoustic, but then again embedded in a live mix, without feedback problems and at a fraction of the price this a versatile simulation of acoustic guitar including eq and even af couple of bass simulations. Works fine in a rock context where the acoustic is not at the very front of the mix or where authenticity is not the main objective. Hotone could raise value of this product in two ways: 1) A firmware update including more simulations (no updates for about 6 months) and 2) Adding another mode to the switching configuration. The pedal will most likely be at the front of the signal chain. Currently possible configurations makes the "acoustic" output and the direct output mutually exclusive. You are either playing acoustic or electric. However if you want to to both simultaneously it would be nice if a mode was included where both outputs can be on at the same time.
