In pictures this case looks to be containing 12 soft foam holes that could each contain many different kinds of microphones. In reality, this case has 1 large hole for all 12 mics and a hard divider plate with 12 holes in it. As a result, all the 12 mics need to be shaped like an SM58 with a small handle and a large head, in order not to fall through the holes and fall into the shared space underneath the divider plate and scratch each other. Thus the case cannot be used for many popular tube-shaped mics such as an SM57 or or many large diaphragm condensers.
If you own 12 SM58's this case might be for you. If you own many different mics, this is probably not what you are looking for.
Build quality is good, but mine had a large, dirty footprint on the hard foam bottom inside, excess glue was visible multiple places, and some of the foam sides did not meet snugly in the corners.
It is really rugged, but since the mics are not placed in truly individual compartments, mine is going back.
