Huge sound and value with a small price tag

Whether you want to buy one of these as a first instrument or as an addition to your collection when you purchase any of the things on this list you will be secure in the knowledge that you have bought a future classic or true evergreen. Buyer’s regret is most unlikely with this gear. 🙂

Harley Benton SC-450Plus HB Vintage Series

It is called vintage because it emulates true classics at a fraction of the cost. Just some of the features: mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, flamed AAA-maple top…an eye catching classic.

Harley Benton JB-75NA Vintage Series

A maple neck, beautifully contrasting the ash wood body; natural high gloss finish with chrome hardware and all that finished to a high standard. Apart from great looks it is an instrument that is very comfortable to play and which has a great all around sound.

Vox Pathfinder 10 Union Jack

Lets start at the cream basket weave finish with the worn Union Jack grill cloth and then talk about the classic chicken head knobs. This amp has been faithfully reproduced and perfectly captures the legendary look of VOX. It’s all analog, you can almost see what’s happening when you play it.

Ashdown Toneman C115 Evo III

Really nice look and a very wide range of controls and hence sounds. If your band needs a solid foundation and reliable performance the trademark Ashdown sub-harmonic generator is ready and able to deliver truck loads of impressive tone at any time you power this unit on.

Shure SM 48 LC

For just a little fewer features than the even more famous Shure SM58 you pay substantially less. This unidirectional mic maintains a true cadioid pattern throughout its frequency range, ensuring high gain and very little feedback as well as rejection of off-axis sound. Its frequency response is tailored for vocals, with a great the presence in the midrange to brighten performance. If vocals is what you want, this is what you should get.

Numark Mixtrack Pro II

If you’re interested in DJ Controllers, Numark is probably not new to you. Lets cut to the chase: You get 16 backlit drum pads, the ability to dynamically create loops and launch your own special set of  samples plus enter Hot Cue Mode. Take advantage of this great price now and soon you will be fusing your best tracks with the illuminated, touch activated platters.

Zoom H1 V2

After the H4 and the H2 Zoom came up with this, the smallest of three. This unit weighs 60g…that’s is about what a chocolate bar weighs. Lets just say, it won’t bother you at all, while you are enhancing your DSLR Camera’s recording or doing any type of recording whatsoever. Two remarkable mics and tons of features.

the t.bone SCT 2000

You need vocals? Try this diaphragm studio tube microphone we very carefully developed. With an unmistakably warm and full sound and a strong presence in the higher midrange you will still pick up great detail on the high frequency end too. To top it off, you can choose between 9 different polar patterns.

Yamaha P-45 B

Yamaha’s graded hammer standard has heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch on the high end. Just like what you may know from a regular acoustic piano. It’s not only authentic to the touch but also excels in terms of  value.

Novation Bass Station II

This is the definition of control and options while maintaining a small form factor. The Bass Station II reborn analogue monosynth sounds warm, fat and/or dirty, depending on settings. Bass Station I was already a thing, this one is better in every respect. What is more, besides the classic multi-mode filter it now also has a new acid filter for massive variation in sonic possibilities.

Zultan Rock Beat Profi Cymbalset

While sound is a subjective matter, the general opinion on this cymbalset and the reviews speak volumes. It’s excellent quality, great material and flawlessly manufactured. What’s left to say: check them out, get this value and consistency for yourself.

Thomann tTrumpet Orange

With this little treasure you get something which even five years ago was impossible. A super light body made from ABS, several top quality moving parts made from stainless steel and brass. It will set you free in terms of weight so you can focus on skill and playing, an excellent instrument, not only for beginners!

pBone pBone Blue

Moving from gig to gig and need a reliable and awesome instrument? This eye catcher will not disappoint you. Against what some people might expect the pBone sounds great despite it’s weight. Check out some youtube videos and be amazed at the tone and ease of play!

Thomann Cajon Box

For the surprise gig on the run or street musicians this is an awesome idea. Foldable, light, integrated snare strainer and will last you a while. Can’t go wrong with this one, especially for our ludicrous price. 🙂

Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 250 Ohm

Headphones, headphones, headphones…but which? I’d suggest these right here!
They are a comfy, proven classic, robust, sound excellent and every part can be exchanged and they are not even expensive. It’s simple, go get ’em! You may end up enjoying them for life..

Avid Mbox Pro

An audio interface with Firewire, 24 bits 192 kHz, 8 inputs, Phantom power, an integrated DSP, and an independent monitoring volume control and so much more, simply check the specs! But above all this one is an amazing deal!

Vincent started frequenting music shops at age eight. Picking up the Bass and Guitar followed not long after, as did bands. His love for music, from Sixties Pop and Soul to AnarchoPunk and Death Metal has only deepened with the years. He still regularly plays at Jam sessions, from Berlin to Cambodia.

From the title “Huge sound and value with a small price tag” I felt that related mainly to instruments and amplification. However, I recently purchased some “Gear” – a T Bone SC 300 studio condenser microphone. I decided I wanted to make better home recordings and in particular, the vocals. Everything else can be DI’d in or mic’d-up so no problems there, but vocals were always a little bit lacking.
I have used the mic for just over a month now and while I am no professional when it comes to recording, I am very happy with the results I have achieved. I am sure that if I have better equipment to record with and more knowledge on the subject, I may question the quality, but I don’t qualify on either. So, as an entry level mic I am quite impressed with the results. For the modest sum of 35€ what can I say? I paid about 100 for a Sure SM58 for live performances but that really isn’t the job when it comes to recording.
I would happily recommend the SC 300 for anyone on a small budget wishing to capture fairly good quality vocals.

Hi Geoff, thanks for your words and feedback. We do our utmost to have our own products like the T Bone SC 300 provide a ton of value. Of course there might be better products but often 2 to 5x as expensive. We are glad the mic gets the job done for you. 🙂
