Boris Nikolov says:
Brilliant choice. I wish I could see more such a content in Thomann.
Timo Silvonen says:
Tim Henson is astonishing – byt so is the rest of the band. I wouldn’t single out anyone from Polyphia, it is a collaboration of true virtuosity. We have never seen bass, drums and dual guitars played like that.
PA says:
Excellent list, I couldn’t get enough of Polyphia’s 2018 New Levels New Devils album.
I’d add Chris Buck as an 11th member of the list for his amazing expressiveness.
Jacobsen Briand says:
Nice list!
But TAJ FARRANT is missing
Laci54 says:
Daniella Villarreal, no question!!!

Matteo is such a dynamic player he is so fast and clear his finger picking is a blur , just amazing , he plays so effortlessly it’s hard to believe that all that sound comes from one person. Just amazing !!!

Love they lista and all, but there’s a few guitarists who should be in it like Scott Lepage or Marcin Patrzalek.

Surely Todd Rundgren should be in this list?
Neil Alexander says:
Rundgren IS a great guitarist but I’d consider him more of a producer despite his virtuoso git box playin. Just sayin!
max says:
why nobody is talking about marcin
Kelvin says:
Just saw Taj Farrant last night! He definitely should be on this list. He is only 14, so watch out world.

Daniele Gottardo should be at the top of this list
Tiger says:
pfff… Matteo mop the floor with “tim poser henson”
Tommy says:
I am sorry, but Matteo is probably the most amazing guitar player to reimagine how to play the guitar since Eddie Van Halen. Noone else is close. And not stupid human tricks like the fastest to rip arpeggios up and down the neck or tap harmonics, but pure dynamic mechanical technique. After technique, you have to look no further than his musical knowledge, improvisational skills, and understanding of complex harmony. Whats more is he can play every type of guitar (tenor, acoustic steel/nylon) and in every style – LITERALLY, and at a guitar master level. Your list is 1000% ASSbackwards.
Pete says:
John Mayer and Todd Rundgren have been around forever, I think that’s why they aren’t on here.
Guthrie Gowan and Matteo Mancuso are on a whole different level, and thank Crom and the 4 Winds you didn’t try to include any of those bozos from “Boygenius”.
Grammys and Rolling Stone lists not withstanding.
Simon says:
Trey Anastasio and Brad Paisley should be on this list
Bob says:
Tosin Abasi, Jason Richardson?
Lori says:
Taj Farramt should be on this list. His talent is incredible and he is only 15 years old.
Chaos says:
Nili Brosh best female guitarist she shreds and also plays with the amazing dethklok
