Scratching ends
The cleanning is good, but unfortunately, in short time after started using it, the rubber / plastic end caps are getting loose, and so the sharp steel wire ends are scratching the inside of the saxophone's neck.

Good neck moisture control.
Don't fall in the rookie's mistake to clean the sax with one of these wire swab. This item is to be used after a cloth swab is used to control the moisture during storage and transport. It keeps moisture away from the octave key hole, preventing any water damage to the pad and inner bore lacquer.
A bit pricey but it sure does a job well done. Do not use it to clean the neck but to control the moisture in the hardware.

Fluff everywhere!
Use this on my alto sax but wish i had gone for a better one. The problem is just that the stands come off very easily and leave bits of fluff in the sax. It does a good job cleaning though so if you dont mind the fluff, go for it.

The first one was perfect bud this one sucks, maybe wrong delivery (read more)
I think they delivered a different swab, because i orderd all flute accesoires, and one sax swab. So i think they tought it was a mistake and switched it for a flute swab, witch sucks when you wanna use it in a sax neck :( bud the first one was very nice bud this time, hell no, so i dont know what to say really ( exept what i just did. ) grts

Used for moisture prevention
Like other reviewers, I don't clean the sax with this but use it after cleaning to fully dry the sax. Works well.

I am very happy with a purchase, it is very practical. The colour of a swab is nice too. It is also very soft. It arrived nicely packed.
