Authentic vintage sound
I use this together with the neck STR-1 in a telecaster. This pickup is clear, warm and has got that great twang sound. Though it is in my opinion more 60's sounding than 50's. It is an awesome rythm pickup for blues and vintage rock, but it is nice for lead too although some might consider it to be a bit thin sounding. This together with the STR-1 gives you a very well balanced, warm, glassy, full sound. You also get that slightly twangy sound which is very important to me. I'd definately recommend you to get this pickup together with the STR-1, great combination.

Good classic tele twang.
I've mounted mine on japanese made photo flame tele. Feels like buying new guitar. Twangy, clear, distinct sound. Great response for articulation and 'snappy' chicken picking. Wonderful for thumbpick pounding.

THE Tele Bridge Sound
What is there to say. When you think of what a Tele Bridge PUP should sound like, this should be the very first pikcup that comes to mind. It has bite, beef, vintage charm, and rangy versatility. It is a faithful recreation of Leo Fender's innovation and it sounds completely killer in my MIJ mid-90's Nashville Foto Flame Telecaster.
