These are made to be used with an unorthodox handle: put the stick between your index and middle finger in the specially thinned out zone.
This enables you to make greater use of the fingers on the rebound. (there are videos on youtube for this technique).
It's really fun to try and can really make you faster but obviously takes some practice and may not be for all occasions, but it is possible to switch the hand while playing.
These are good sticks in general: good wood, good manufacturing, even weight and pitch. Perfectly usable with standard matched grip (i do not use classic grip)

Man umfasst den Stick nicht mit Daumen und Zeigefinger, sondern zwischen Zeigefinger und Mittelfinger! Genau an dieser Stelle hat der SpeedStick eine Verjüngung, damit man besser drum herum fassen kann. Aus dieser Stockhaltung heraus ergibt sich ein tierischer Rebound. Man kann mit hohem Druck spielen und (wahrscheinlich nach einigem Üben) auch mit mehr Speed. Faszinierend. Es steht auch ein Video auf YouTube von Rohema, wo das demonstriert wird.
