The worst mandolin I've ever had
The best parameter of the mandolin it its shape. The flat back is very good for travel :)
Then, its sound is very-very average, in comparison with a Portugal or Irish mandolin. If you try to compare its sound with a classic mandolin you'll find that it's just a garbage.
Attention!!! Its neck has bent (about 3 mm in a middle) after just 8 months of usage.
Never buy the mandolin for children if you don't want to cause disgust to mandolin and other musical instruments!!!!!
I'd recommend you to buy the mandolin only for a hiking in a forest or mountains. In this case you'll always have a stock of firewood for cooking.
The producer, Gewa (Romania), should pay you to force you to buy it.
I set one star because it's impossible to set minus 10.

An absolute pleasure arrived today..
I can highly recommend this mandolin, the tone is bright and sweet and in spite of its journey to the UK, it has stayed in tune most of today, which is a small miracle.
The Romanian craftsmanship is really very, very good for the money and it feels as great as it looks.
Once again, a very happy customer, thank you Thomann!
