Utilisation super simple

Love it or hate it

Grew up playing with trackers and i love the workflow. The lack of unlimited tracks, 1 sample but 2 fx per step give me such a nice new way of making music again. Having to many options in general is not a good thing for a creative process. You end up with way more creative stuff when you are limited and get nice accidental patterns. The clicky sounds of the buttons are somewhat hard but feel great.
In all cases i would not do any mixing on this thing, except for levels, fx, panning and maybe some filtering. Most other options are there but it requires a bit more menu diving. But when it's final, it's final. And then you wont be spending hours messing around with a sound/sample instead of just making music (and that's what you should do). Quick decisions and roll with it is the best way to describe this device. If you are a "regular" DAW user and are not familiar with trackers, maybe watch some video's on it first. Because it will probably be not for you.

Oh and you can use it like the tracker mini if you have a USB c to c cable. Your phone can then be used as a powerbank and midikeyboard...just so nice, i take it to the park with me.
