I use this with a JTM45 and a Princeton reverb clone and I put a Celestion Redback (150W 8Ohm)
It's definitely a better fit for a Marshall type of amp. It would be good for more modern type amps, solid state or tube, or for heavier styles.
The price is fair and the build quality seems solid. I also got the cover for it, which is a great fit and a no brainer.

Great Cabinet for the money

I wanted a 112 cabinet for home use, but nothing boxy and needed an open back to create better bass response. This fits the bill nicely, Using an Origin 20 head and a Jensen 12 Alnico. Good quality, well made and the only issue I had is the sparkly grill cloth, but i's removable if its too much for you.

La construction est sans reproche, la qualité est impressionnante. Ma première remarque irait à la couleur des câbles. Ils sont transparent, avec le câblage couleur cuivre pour l’un et argent pour l’autre, si on est daltonien, on a du mal à savoir lequel est le positif lequel est le négatif. Un plus ou un moins sur la cosse, ou un repère pour identifier le bon câble ne serait pas grand chose mais changerait beaucoup côté accessibilité. Ma deuxième remarque est que le montage se fait par la face avant, du coup la plupart des HP possède un joint en liège de protection, mais place du mauvais côté, donc si vous pouviez inclure un joint liège ou mousse pour le montage du HP, ça serait un petit plus appréciable.

Gut verarbeitet, jedoch nicht gerade leicht

Eine sehr gut und anständig verarbeitete Leerbox. Ich konnte nichts finden, was ich bemängeln könnte.
Die Preiserhöhung hat auch vor diesem Produkt nicht halt gemacht. Insofern wird für die Palmer CAB 112 nunmehr auch 25 % mehr als in den letzten Jahren genommen.
Jetzt ist aber dafür die umlaufende Kederleiste an der Frontabdeckung in rot und nicht mehr in silbergrau :-)
Ein passendes Schutzcover gibt es aber zu einem anständigen Preis dazu.

Einzig das Gewicht wäre ein Argument gegen die Box. Denn knapp über 13 kg allein für die Leerbox ist schon eine Ansage. Da reißt es dann der leichte Neodymium Speaker mit 2 kg auch nicht mehr heraus.
Spanplatten sind halt nicht gerade leicht.
Es gibt, wenn auch wenige leichte Leerboxen um die 6 bis 7 kg Gewicht am Markt, die kommen aber dann mit Cover etc. preislich weit über 400.- Euro. Das muss jeder selbst entscheiden, ob die 6 kg Gewichtserparnis den Mehrpreis rechtfertigen.

Insgesamt nach wie vor eine solide verabeitete und optisch gut aussehende Box zum vergleichsweise günstigen Preis.
