Exceeded expectations.
Absolutely delighted with this guitar. It looks even more stunning in real life than in the photographs. It seems very well made and finished.
The plugged in sound is superb and the gain control and 3 band equaliser make it easy to adjust the tone to individual preference. The built in tuner is a bonus.
The super shallow bowl does compromise the depth of the unplugged tone although it is still reasonable. A purist acoustic player should maybe look elsewhere but for a giggable acoustic sound it is perfect.
The action was on the high side but was easily lowered by removing one of the two under saddle shims (which is easy to do). I replaced the supplied strings with extra light gauge acoustic and it now rivals an electric guitar for playability.
Overall this is a superb guitar for the money.

Great sound out of the box!!!
I use this guitar for performances and recording in the studio. Great, recognizable Ovation sound, bright, juicy and balanced. Even on an unconnected guitar, the sound is quite loud (although the body is small), the undoubted advantage of this body is its low weight, as well as low susceptibility to temperature changes. I recommend this model and 100% recommend Thomann for the best price, fast order processing, and fast delivery!

Fantastic
Brilliant guitar for the price. I was looking for a replacement for my old Aria round back. Although the Aria is a nice guitar with a lovely tone, I just couldn't get a decent sound plugged in. No pre-amp. I play in a covers band and need a good acoustic sound for a couple of songs without spending silly money.. I use the awesome Boss GT1000 live but even this monster can't produce a good acoustic sound. So I did some research and came with with two possibilities, ibanez aewc32fm or the Ovation. The reason I chose these two is because they are slimline and I have got a belly. I have to iron my shirts on a Wok! Anyway, chose the Ovation. It's shipped with 12's gauge strings which are way too heavy for me so I swapped for 10's. (I can hear you acoustic players screaming at me.) I looked up lowering the bridge online and it's really simple so that's my next minor adjustment.
So, does it cut the mustard? Too right it does. For the price, this guitar is outstanding. Buy it.
(PS. Tiny, tiny little ding on the top but I can live with it)

Great value for money
Very beautiful guitar , it's light and easy to play. I will lower the saddle and maybe use 11 strings instead of 12, sounds great for a round back guitar.

beautiful Guitar
Sadly the neck joint was weak and broke after a small knock, while in a fully protected Ovation hardshell case.
