S
Number 1 for (experienced) Fretless Beginners
I am very pleased with this new addition to my bass family. A quick visual examination revealed no flaws to the fit or finish. Time to plug it in. The action and intonation were perfect right out of the box. And it plays beautifully. I had been put off the active Sires in the past by what looks to be an overcomplicated EQ. But this passive bass provides plenty of versatility with just a vol/vol/tone layout.
The price point this sits at makes it ideal for the experienced bassist (such as myself) who wants to give fretless a try. Without wishing to sound elitist, playing a very cheap bass after my more expensive instruments can be a bit arduous. But with its build quality and high-end features this bass suffers none of that, and at a price that will not break the bank.
Highly recommended. Good work, Mr Miller!
