Beautiful pickup

I put it in my thinline telecaster replica instead of humbucker to get more "tele" sound. This lollar has absolutely gorgeous twang, instantly calling back to 60s even on modern distortion. Expectedly warm and not too dark.

Sadly, first one I got was dead on arrival, no visual damage. Thanks thomann for easily sending replacement. So the pickup seems to be having QA issues.

Wow ! Le claquant et la définition !

Livré avec un petit livret qui indique comment faire les soudures (car chaque constructeur a son code couleur pour les câbles), les vis, et les ressorts (que je n'avais pas vu aux premiers abords, placés sous la mousse protectrice - j'ai dû fabriquer une petite pièce pour réussir à monter le micro sur un pickguard... Alors qu'il n'y avait pas besoin...)

Le son est à la fois très clair, claquant (twang ?) et chaleureux...
On distingue clairement toutes les notes et toutes les cordes !
Que ce soit en "son clair" ou "saturé", on ressent chacune des petites intentions de jeu, et la puissance de ces micros ressort sur tous les types de dynamique de jeu, c'est fou !

Je l'ai combiné sur ma Telecaster avec un micro Lollar Imperial F Spaced, et les deux se marient extrêmement bien ! (Ma critique est la même pour ces deux micros)

Ça fait des années que je réfléchissais pour me prendre ce micro, si vraiment l'investissement en valait la peine... Et clairement : oui !
Une guitare moyen-gamme bien réglée, et avec ces micros Lollar, dépasse largement les guitares haut de gamme ! Le feeling est démultiplié !
Je referai ce choix sans hésiter :)
