Not recommended for violin

Pros: Easy to attach to the instrument, weight is very low. Display is easy to read. AAA-battery is available in every shop, easy to replace and it lasts a very long time.

Cons: Sensitivity is generally too low. Reading changes up/down if you play loud/soft - it shouldn't. Indicator very 'nervous' and takes too long to stabilize. In higher registers no reading at all or the tone indicated is wrong. This device simply doesn't do the job.
