That's some piece of heavy-duty metals
Pros: from the first seconds feels like a reliable and sturdy loaf of metal(s). I thought the plates are steel too – no, they are aluminium, but god they are thikkkk. Stands strong, holding my MBPro 15" as if it was born for this purpose (maybe it was). Very-very low jitter of the screen when you type on the keyboard which you put right on the lower plate; cannot spot any jitter if the keyboard is on the table near the plate.
Cons: (very, very subjective and specific to my case) check the height! It is pleasantly high but you cannot lower it too low (the lowest from the desk to the top of my MBP 15" is about 58cm), no matter what you do! If you need “just a little bit of raise over the table” – you probably need K&M 12195.

Bit of a gamble but totally worth it
I needed a tall, adjustable-angle perch to sit my 808 above my Sub37. This looked like it might be suitable. The price was a little off-putting but my experience with K&M quality gave me confidence to proceed. Really glad I did. It's perfect. The height, the angles, the sturdiness. Fantastic.
